This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

This is an application under Section 438, Cr.P.C. filed by the petitioner for anticipatory bail.

The petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Chhendipada P.S. Case No.421 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.810 of 2022 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C., Chhendipada for commission of offence punishable under Sections 419/420/384/ 506/34, I.P.C.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the main allegation is against one Anupama Bhoi and Bidyadhar Senapati and that the present petitioner is working as record keeper. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that neither the petitioner was involved in the alleged offence nor she was named in the F.I.R. However, it is also submitted by learned counsel

// 2 // for the petitioner that the petitioner is being harassed by the police in connection with the present case.

Considering the submissions made by the respective parties and the materials placed before the Court, it is directed that in the event of arrest of the petitioner by the Arresting Officer in the aforesaid case, petitioner shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper by the Arresting Officer. 7.

Accordingly, the ABLAPL is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
