Heard Mr. G. Das, learned counsel for the petitioner and Prasant Mr. S.S. Pradhan, learned Additional Government Advocate. 2.

According to Mr. Das, the petitioner is aggrieved by the non-disposal of his application filed under Section 28 A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 which has been registered as C.R. No.10 of 2008 pending before the Collector-cum-Special Land Acquisition Officer, Lanjigarh Road (sole opposite party). In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the sole opposite party to dispose of the said case within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the sole opposite party to make all endeavours to dispose of the above noted case i.e. C.R. No.10 of 2008 filed by the petitioner in accordance with law within a
