This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction to the Transport Commissioner, STA, Odisha, Cuttack to dispose of her application filed for change of slot allotted to her under the rationalization time table.

It is submitted by learned counsel that the Petitioner has been allotted with Slot Nos.61 and 72 in the rationalization time table in respect of her vehicle bearing Registration No. OD-01-Z8088 (Bus). The Petitioner has made an application to the Transport Commissioner, STA, Odisha, Cuttack on 22nd August, 2022 under Annexure-3 for change of slot, which is still pending. He, therefore, prays for a direction for early disposal of the same. 4.
Mr. Behera, learned Standing Counsel for the Transport Department submits that he has no definite instruction in the matter. However, if the application of the Petitioner is still pending, the same may be directed to be considered giving
// 2 // opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner along with other operators likely to be affected.

Taking into consideration the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case disposes of this writ petition with a direction that the Transport Commissioner, STA, Odisha, Cuttack-Opposite Party No.1 shall do well to consider the application of the Petitioner dated 22nd August, 2022 under Annexure-3, giving opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner along with other operators likely to be affected, if the same is still pending and communicate the result thereof to the Petitioner forthwith.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
