This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Standing Counsel. Perused the records. 3.

This is an application under Section 438 Cr.P.C. filed by the Petitioner for anticipatory bail.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that show cause has been issued to the Petitioner by the D.F.O., Keonjhar. So far as the present is concerned, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that he was working as Assistant Manager, TPNODL. Thereafter he resigned from his service and his resignation was accepted on 12.08.2022. However, the occurrence took place on 25.08.2022.

Considering the nature of allegations made, gravity of the offence and the fact that the Petitioner has resigned from his earlier

// 2 // assignment and his resignation has been accepted, it is directed that in the event of arrest of the Petitioner by the Arresting Officer in connection with 2(b) C.C.Case No.10 of 2022 arising out of OR Case No.10 K of 2022-23 of Keonjhar Range pending in the Court of the learned S.D.J.M., Keonjhar, he shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as would be deemed just and proper by the Arresting Officer.

The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
