1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opp. Party.

3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "Under the facts and circumstances mentioned above the present petitioner therefore most humpy prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to admit the Writ petition and after hearing both the sides may be pleased direct the Opp. party/ Director, Steel Authority of India, Limited Rourkela to promote the petitioner on the post of Manager as promoted to other similar situated employees;

And further be pleased to dispose of the representation dated 4.7.2022 pending before Director SAIL for consideration;

And pass any other order/orders as would be deemed fit and proper;

And for which act of kindness, the petitioners as in duty bound shall ever pray."

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submits that through highlighting her grievances, the Petitioner has filed an application at Annexure-5 to the Writ Petition before the O.P. No.1, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted Petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioner.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. (Biraja Prasanna Satapathy) Judge Sneha
