This application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been filed by the Petitioner with a prayer to quash the very initiation of the proceeding in Cuttack Vigilance P.S. Case No.75 of 2010, corresponding to V.G.R. Case No.75 of 2010, pending in the court of Special Judge (Vigilance), Cuttack thereby discharging her from the alleged charges.

Heard Mr. Amarendra Das, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr. N. Moharana, learned Additional Standing Counsel appearing for the Vigilance Department.

Mr. Das, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner does not want to press this Criminal Misc. Case and, as such, she may be permitted to withdraw the same with liberty to approach this Court after submission of charge sheet.

In view of such submission, this Criminal Misc. Case is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as sought for. (S. Pujahari) Judge DA
