1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.
3. The Petitioners have filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "Under these circumstances, the Petitioner most humbly prays that this Hon'ble Court be graciously leased to allow this writ application and issue writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the Opp. Party No. 2 to direct the district authority as per annexure-1 to add the names of the Petitioners in the gradation list, received the documents from them and give promotion to the post of Public Health Extension Officer as per rules.
And further be pleased to pass any other order(s) as deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.
And for this act of kindness the petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray."
4. Learned counsel for the Petitioners further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the Petitioners have filed an application at Annexure-4 to the Writ Petition before the O.P.
// 2 // No.2, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioners prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted Petition within a specific time period.
5. Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioners.
