This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "seeking direction to the opposite parties to make assessment/measurement of the actual area taken in acquisition and to pay cost of the land of additional area Ac0.10 decimal acquired under the provisions of Land Acquisition Act in excess of notified area and to re-estimate the excavation cost of the pond, which has been incorrectly assessed as 1995 Sq.Mt. instead of 2613 Sq.Mt. and to pay compensation for loss earning of the petitioner in lieu of acquisition of the pond along with value of fruit bearing trees;" 4.

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation vide Annexure-5 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.5 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a

specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.5 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
