3. In this writ petition, the petitioner challenges the inaction of the Opposite Parties not disposing the representation of the Petitioner dated 07.02.2022 for appointment under the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme(RAS), Notification No.
25585/Gen dated 24.02.1990 of the Government in General Administration and Public Grievance Department, Odisha.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that when the petitioner's father died on 28.10.2006 at that time the petitioner was only 10 years old minor and he was not
// 2 // eligible to apply for that post. Then the petitioner pursues his education and he applied in year 2022. Though the petitioner turned to be major in the year 2014 still he did not apply in time and he applied only in 2022 which is quite belated. However, the petitioner has given a representation to the Opposite Party vide Letter dated 07.02.2022 which is still pending.
4. In view of pendency of such representation, the opposite party No.
3/District Education Officer, Berhampur, Ganjam is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner and pass a reasoned order within a period of 45 days from the date of production/presentation of certified copy of this order along with a copy of this Writ Petition.
5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
6. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
