This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

Perused the report of the Learned District & Sessions Judge, Kandhamal, Phulbani indicating that in the meanwhile trial has commenced and four witnesses have already been examined and next date is posted to 20.07.2022. Taking note of the same, this Court is not inclined to entertain this application at this Stage. 4.
Since the petitioner is in custody 29.07.2019, Learned Trial Court shall do well to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of the certified copy of this order.

It shall be open for the petitioner to renew his prayer, if the trial is not concluded within the time stipulated. 6.
The BLAPL thus stands disposed of.
