Heard learned counsel for Petitioner and learned counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "
It is, therefore, prayed that your Lordships may be pleased to direct the State/O.Ps for sanction and disbursement of Grade Pay Rs.4600/- towards 2nd financial up-gradation on completion of 20 years of service in the post of VLW/PEO w.e.f. 3.12.2021 and fix up pay of the petitioner on 2nd MACP in pursuance of Rule 13(ii) read with 13(v) of ORSP Rules, 2017 on the basis of grade pay Rs.4600/- in appropriate Level and Cell of the Pay Matrix and accordingly revise the pension and disburse all consequential financial benefits to the Petitioner".

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that through highlighting his grievances, the Petitioner has filed a representation at Annexure-7 to the Writ Petition, before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 6.
With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
