This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with G.R. Case No.358 of 2022, pending in the file of learned S.D.J.M., Patnagarh, arising out of Khaprakhol P.S. Case No.72 of 2022, for offences under Sections 417/493/294/506/34 of IPC.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Patnagarh, by order dated 08.09.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Perused the order of rejection.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record the statement of the victim.

On considering the statement of the victim and taking into account the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that investigation has progressed substantially, this Court directs the

petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Additionally it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer once every week till conclusion of investigation.

9.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
