This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with Special (NDPS) Case No.2 of 2008, pending in the Court of learned District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Court, Angul, arising out of P.R. No.21 of 2007-08, for offences under Section 20(a)(b) of the NDPS Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Special Judge, Angul, by order dated 14.09.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Perused the order of rejection.

The allegations being plantation of Cannabis plant and taking into account the age of the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
