This matter is taken up today in the 4th National Lok Adalat. Order No.

2.

This appeal is preferred by the Appellant-Claimant challenging the award dated 07.09.2020 passed by the Second Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Cuttack in Misc. Case No.228 of 1998. 3.

Learned counsels representing the Appellant-Claimant as well as Respondent No.2-Insurance Company have submitted that they are agreed for settlement of the dispute involved in this case with further consolidated amount of Rs.45,000/- over and above the awarded amount. In this regard, he has filed a joint compromise sheet, which be kept on record.

As per the terms and conditions of the compromise petition, the appeal is disposed of with direction to the Respondent No.2Insurance Company to pay further Rs.45,000/- (Rupees Forty Five Thousand) consolidated to the Appellant-Claimant within period of eight weeks from today.

The amount shall be disbursed to the claimant on proper identification.
