This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The present Interlocutory Application has been filed seeking modification of the order dated 21.09.2022.

On perusal of the Interlocutory Application, it appears that the Petitioner has one criminal antecedents vide Kisannagar P.S.Case No.78 of 2021 corresponding to G.R.Case No.1299 of 2021 for the offences under Section 341,294, 323, 354, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. On perusal of the order dated 21.09.2022 it appears that this Court in paragraph 6 of the order directed the Court below to verify the criminal antecedents.

Considering such fact it is directed that the word 'any' in paragraph-6 be deleted and words "more than one" be inserted. 6.

In view of the aforesaid modification, four weeks' further time from today is granted to the Petitioner to surrender as per order dated 21.09.2022, but subject to depositing cost of Rs.500/- (Rupees

// 2 // five hundred) by the Petitioner in the Advocates' Welfare Fund of the Orissa High Court within 15 days from today and furnishing money receipt thereof in proof of the said deposit. 7.

It is made clear that, if cost is not paid within the aforesaid stipulated time, then the extension period to surrender shall stand automatically revoked.

The I.A. is accordingly disposed of.
