1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
2. Heard.
3. Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners in this Writ Petition challenge the impugned order of promotion dated 17.11.2020 passed by the Opposite Party No.4/ Collector and District Magistrate, Malkangiri promoting the juniors to the Petitioners from Level- V(A) to Level-V(B) teacher in the district of Malkangiri on the ground that cadre strength of the Reserved Category Teachers in the district cannot be more than 38.5% notwithstanding the seniority and higher position of the Reserved Category Teachers over the General Category Teachers.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners have made a representation before the Opposite Party No.1/ Secretary, School and Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha, Bhubaneswar ventilating their grievances which is pending since 11.07.2022. Therefore, he submits that the authority may be directed to dispose of the representation of the Petitioners within a stipulated time.

In such view of the matter, the Opposite Party No.1/ Secretary, School and Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha, Bhubaneswar to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioners taking into account the letter dated 03.11.2021 under Annexure-5 issued by the Opposite Party No.5/ District Welfare Officer, Malkangiri and pass a reasoned order within a period of thirty days from the date of presentation of a copy of this order along with a copy of the Writ Petition.
6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
