This matter is taken up today in the 4th National Lok Adalat. Order No.

This appeal is preferred by the Insurance Company challenging the award dated 4th July, 2022 passed by the 1st Additional District Judge-cum-1st M.A.C.T., Cuttack in M.A.C. No.695 of 2018.

Learned counsels representing the Appellant-Insurance Company as well as Respondents No.1 and 2-Claimants have submitted that they are agreed for settlement of the dispute involved in this case with consolidated amount of Rs.10,40,000/-. In this regard, he has filed a joint compromise sheet, which be kept on record.

As per the terms and conditions of the compromise petition, the appeal is disposed of with direction to the Appellant-Insurance Company to pay Rs.10,40,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakh Forty Thousand) consolidated to the Respondents No.1 and 2-Claimants within period of eight weeks from today. Further, the right of recovery granted under the award dated 4th July, 2022 is hereby confirmed. 5.

The amount shall be disbursed to the claimants on proper identification.
