This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

Learned counsel for the victim has appeared Mr. A. Pattnaik, whose Vakalatnama is taken on record. 4.

The petitioner is an accused in C.T. Case No.459 of 2020, on the file of learned SDJM, Karanjia, arising out of Karanjia P.S. Case No.162 of 2020, U/s.376/313 of IPC, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the nature of allegations and 164 Cr. P.C. statement of the victim, who is differently abled and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that 9 witnesses including the doctor have already been examined in the

// 2 // meanwhile, this Court directs the learned court in seisin over the matter to conclude the trial within a period three months from the date or receipt/production of certified copy of this order. Depositions of P.Ws 1 to 9 are kept on record. 6.

Since it is stated at the Bar that the case is lingering for non-examination of the victim and the I.O., the learned Court in seisin over the matter shall take all necessary steps in accordance with law for their examination at an early date. 7.

The petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer in the event the trial is not concluded within the time stipulated. 8.

The BLAPL stands disposed of.
