This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in Angul Sadar P.S. Case No.462 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.908 of 2022, pending before the learned S.D.J.M., Angul, for alleged commission of offences under Section 395 of the IPC read with Section 25 of Arms Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (Vigilance), Angul, by order dated 13.09.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Perused the order of rejection.

Keeping in view the nature of allegations and the period of custody since 31.07.2022, this Court directs the petitioner to be

released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

7.

Taking into account the concern expressed by the learned counsel for the State on the basis of rejection order that the petitioner has criminal proclivity, this Court directs that the petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer once every week till conclusion of trial.

8.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
