This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction for early disposal of Second Appeal No.1001 of 2022 stated to be pending before the State Information Commission, Bhubaneswar.

It is submitted by Mr. Achari, learned counsel for the Petitioner that the appeal is ready in all respect and there is no legal impediment for early disposal of the appeal. Due to pendency of the appeal, the Petitioner is seriously prejudiced. 4.

Mr. Dash, learned counsel appearing for the State Information Commission submits that he has no instruction with regard to the status of Second Appeal No.1001 of 2022 stated to be pending before the State Information Commission. He, however, submits that the appeals are being taken up serially and it will be taken up in its due course. If the Petitioner wants for early disposal of the appeal, he should move an application

// 2 // before the State Information Commission in that regard before approaching this Court.

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case of the Petitioner, disposes of the writ petition with a direction that in the event the Petitioner files an application for early disposal of Second Appeal No.1001 of 2022 enclosing certified copy of this order within a period of two weeks hence, the State Information Commission shall do well to consider said application and proceed with the matter in accordance with law.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
