This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioners are accused in connection with C.T. Case No.168 of 2022, pending before the learned J.M.F.C., Soro, arising out of Soro P.S. Case No.66 of 2022, for offences under Section 52(a) of Odisha Excise Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of their application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Soro, by order dated 15.09.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Perused the order of rejection.

Taking into account the nature of accusations and the punishment prescribed and as the petitioners are in custody since 13.09.2022, this Court directs the petitioners to be released on bail

on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

7.

Keeping in view the criminal antecedent of the petitioners as noted by the order of rejection, this Court directs that the petitioners shall appear before the Investigating Officer once every week till conclusion of final P.R.

8.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
