Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 15.09.2022 in connection with Jagannath Prasad P.S. Case No.101 of 2013 corresponding to G.R. Case No.434(A) of 2013 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Jagannath Prasad for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 498(A)/304(B)/406/306/34 of IPC. 4.

Considering the nature of accusations and the availability of materials prima facie in support thereof as also looking at the conduct of the petitioner in absconding during investigation, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, rejected.
