1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.

3. According to learned counsel for the Petitioner, the grievance of the Petitioner in this case is that the Petitioner has filed a complaint against the I.O. of G.R. Case No.1954 of 2019 arising out of Ainthapali P.S. Case No.246 dated 15.06.2019 for non-compliance of the provision under Section 167(2) Cr.P.C. within the stipulated time.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been released on bail in Criminal Revision No.13 of 2019 on the ground of non-submission of charge sheet within the stipulated period of 120 days.

// 2 // Consequently, he is threatening to the prosecution witness and trying to capture the only eye-witness who is complainant of this case. The petitioner has submitted his grievance petition addressing to Superintendent of Police, Sambalpur but it is still pending. However, the charge sheet has not been registered. In such background, he prays that necessary direction be given to the opposite party No.2/Superintendent of Police, Sambalpur to takes appropriate steps in this regard.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs that the opposite party No.2/ Superintendent of Police, Sambalpur to look into the matter and pass appropriate order within a period two weeks from the presentation of certified copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
