Heard Mr. B.B. Swain, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S.S. Pradhan, learned Additional Government Advocate 2.
According to Mr. Swain, the petitioner, who happens to be the daughter of the recorded tenant, is aggrieved by the nonextension of benefits earmarked for displaced family under the extended displaced family category though the land belonging to her father has been acquired. He further submits that though pursuant to the notice dated 05.01.2021 under Annexure-3 issued by the Special Land Acquisition & Rehabilitation Officer (opposite party No.3), the petitioner produced the required documents before the said opposite party and has already filed a representation dated 22.03.2022 under annexure-4 but till date no decision has been taken on the same. Accordingly, he prays that that a direction be issued to the opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted representation of the petitioner within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without
// 2 // expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted representation of the petitioner under Annexure-4 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 5.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application in course of the day.
