This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

This Interlocutory Application has been filed seeking modification of order dated 19.10.2022. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that although the Petitioner tried to surrender, however bail bond submitted was not accepted on the ground that the bailer is not a blood related to the Petitioner. This Court is of the considered view that there is no such embargo in the Criminal Procedure Code. However, learned court below shall ensure that the bailer belongs to the locality and is a solvent person. In such view of the matter, time to surrender is further extended by four weeks.
