This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard Mr. B. Suryabansi, learned counsel appearing on instruction of Mr. P.C. Jena, learned counsel for the applicant. 3.

This is an application for changing the nomenclature of the case from WPCRL to CRLMC in as much as, the petition being WPCRL No.114 of 2022 has been filed for quashing the FIR and the criminal proceeding being G.R. No.1389/2022 arising out of the Satyabadi P.S. Case No.192/2022, and also for declaring the seizure of the vehicle of the petitioner bearing Registration No.OD-02AH2855 as illegal etc. 4.

We have also heard Mr. J. Katikia, learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the State. Mr. Katikia, learned Addl. Government Advocate has submitted that the conversion may be

allowed. Having appreciated the submission of the counsel as well as the records so produced before us, we are of the view that the petition as filed by the applicant cannot be treated as a petition being WPCRL, instead, it should be treated as CRLMC, in view of the relief as urged in the said petition.

Accordingly, this petition is converted to CRLMC. 6.

In terms of the above, this Interlocutory application for conversion is allowed and disposed of.
