This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard Mr. B. Suryabansi, learned counsel appearing on instruction of Mr. P.C. Jena, learned counsel for the applicant. 3.

This is an application for changing the nomenclature from WPCRL to CRLMC in as much as, the petition being WPCRL No.115 of 2022 has been filed for quashing the FIR and the criminal proceeding being G.R. No.1279/2022 arising out of the Jankia P.S. Case No.289/2022, pending in the Court of the learned S.D.J.M., Khurda and also for declaring the seizure of the vehicle of the petitioner bearing Registration No.OD-02BK-2855 as illegal etc. 4.

We have also heard Mr. J. Katikia, learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the State. Mr. Katikia, learned Addl. Government Advocate has submitted that the conversion may be

allowed. Having appreciated the submission of the counsel and the records so produced before us, we are of the view that this petition cannot be treated as a petition being WPCRL, instead it should be treated as CRLMC, in view of the nature of the reliefs as urged in this petition.

Accordingly, this petition is converted to CRLMC. 6.

In terms of the above, this Interlocutory application for conversion is allowed and disposed of.
