Heard Mr. Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Nanda, learned Additional Government Advocate. 2.
According to Mr. Panda, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Balasore Sadar P.S. Case No.91 dated 16.03.2022 registered for commission of offences under Sections 294/298/325/307/417/ 420/395/380/500/506/34 of I.P.C. He further submits that though highlighting all his grievances, the petitioner has approached the Superintendent of Police, Balasore (opposite party No.2) by sending a grievance petition under Annexure-2 on 02.05.2022 through registered post, however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the Superintendent of Police, Balasore to take a decision on the grievance petition of the petitioner within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court
// 2 // directs the Superintendent of Police, Balasore to take a decision on the grievance petition dated 02.05.2022 of the petitioner under Annexure-2 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if in the meantime, the same has not been disposed of and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.
Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
