This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction to the State Cooperative Election Commission (for short, 'the Commission') to fix the date for election to the post of President, Bharigada Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society, under Rajkanika block of Kendrapara district. 3.

Mr. Nayak, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that election in respect of the aforesaid post has been deferred twice. Although the date for election had been fixed pursuant to direction of this Court, the same could not be held as the Election Officer fell ill.

Taking into consideration the submission of learned counsel for the Petitioner, this Court directed Mr. Dhal, learned counsel for the Commission to take instruction in the matter. Mr. Dhal, learned counsel on instruction submits that the election for the post of President of the Society is fixed at 10.00 AM to 12 'O' clock on 3rd November, 2022. He also produces a

// 2 // copy of the notification dated 22nd September, 2022 in respect of the same, which is taken on record.

In that view of the matter, nothing remains to be adjudicated in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with an observation that all endeavours shall be made to hold the election on the date fixed.

Issue urgent certified copy of the order on proper application.
