WPC (OAC) No. 165 of 2010 & I.A. No. 2575 of 2021 This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.

This I.A. has been filed for substitution of the petitioner by his wife on the ground that during pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner dies on 03.12.2013.

Prayer is allowed. The wife of the petitioner be arrayed as the petitioner. Consolidated copy of the cause title be filed within a week.

The I.A. stands disposed of.

However, on perusal of the writ petition, it appears that the petitioner had claimed the benefit of promotion. Since the petitioner has died in the meantime, by efflux of time, the relief sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. 6.

In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed, vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, as modified by Court's Notice No. 4798 dated 15th

April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
