Heard Mr. S. Satapathy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. J. Katikia, learned Additional Government Advocate.

According to Mr. Satapathy, the petitioners are aggrieved by the non-issuance of displacement certificates though their grandfather namely, Late Mahadeb Dash has lost all his lands for construction of Hirakud Dam Project.

During course of hearing, Mr. Satapathy submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioners to move the Tahasildar, Rengali (opposite party No.3) in the matter by filing representations for redressal of their grievances and prays that the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioners to file individual representations
// 2 // before the Tahasildar, Rengali (opposite party No.3) through registered post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such representations are received along with copy of this order, the opposite party No.3 is directed to take decisions on the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such representations and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners. 5.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 6.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
