1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode. Order No.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

3. The Petitioner is in custody since 28th November, 2019 in connection with Jharsuguda P.S.

Case No.772/2019 corresponding to C.T. Case No.2453/2019 pending in the court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Jharsuguda for the alleged commission of the offence under Section 302 of I.P.C. and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act.

4. It is alleged that the Petitioner committed the murder of the deceased by shooting her with a pistol. Trial has already commenced and 14 witnesses have been examined so far. There is evidence to show the involvement of the Petitioner in the occurrence though certain discrepancies have been pointed out, which can be considered by the trial court at the appropriate stage.

5. Considering the above facts, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore rejected. (Sashikanta Mishra) AKB Judge
