Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in T.R. Case No.56 of 2020, pending in the file of learned Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Koraput arising out of Sunabeda P.S. Case No.135 of 2020, for commission of alleged offence under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c) of the NDPS Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Koraput by order dated 12.09.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed. 4.
Taking into account the quantity of contraband (ganja) seized being to the tune of 444kgs and that trial has commenced, this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application at this stage keeping in view the nature of allegations.

It shall be open to the petitioner to renew his prayer before the learned Court in seisin over the matter after examination of materials witnesses.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
