Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. 2.
This writ petition involves a serious allegation that on the competent authority asking for clarification of certain query vide Annexure-6 issued on 1st August, 2022, even though the petitioner claims to have submitted his response through e-mail on 16.08.2022, soft copy at Annexure-7 and a hard copy as well, there is no response of the competent authority. In the present situation, this Court finds the writ petition becomes premature. But, however, disposes of the same with a direction to the competent authority in the event the authority has not taken into consideration the response of the petitioner and there is no finality to the renewal of passport involved herein, the authority should show finality on such issue taking into account the response vide Annexure-7 and further also keeping in view the direction of this Court in the case of Asutosh Amrit Patnaik v. State of Orissa & Ors. involving W.P.(C).No.4834 of 2022 disposed of on 23.03,2022 by completing the entire exercise

This Court records the undertaking of the petitioner that he shall also cooperate in personally assisting the authority in clearing the doubt.
