IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK

CONTC No.2078 of 2018 Ashutosh Sahu .... Petitioner None -versusBishnupada Sethy and Another .... Contemnors/ O Opp. Parties Mr. L. Samantaray, AGA

CORAM:

JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH JUSTICE M.S. RAMAN ORDER (Oral) 29.06.2022 03.

1.

This matter is taken up through hybrid Order No.

arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

2.

The present contempt has been filed for the alleged none-compliance of the order dated 21st December, 2017 passed in W.P.(C) No.26533 of 2017. On the previous date of hearing, none had appeared. However we had directed Mr. L. Samantaray to read the Court file and seek instructions regarding compliance of the order.

3.

At the time of hearing today, Mr. Samantaray states that for lack of complete details offered in the present contempt, he had requested Mr. Gyaneswar Satpathy, Advocate for supply of a copy, which has not been complied till today.

// 2 // 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has yet again not appeared at the time of hearing today.

5.

In view of the above, we have no means to examine the alleged willful disobedience, and it also appears that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the contempt, perhaps due to compliance of the directions.

6.

The CONTC is accordingly disposed of.
