This matter is taken up through video conference mode. Order No.

None appears for the Petitioner when the matter is called. However, looking to the prayer involved, this Court finds, the Petitioner seeks a direction to the Chairperson, Permanent Lok Adalat, Khurda to dismiss the proceeding, vide P.L.A. No.47/2021. For the opinion of this Court, once a Proceeding is initiated, the Parties involving the Proceeding have the scope to contest the Proceeding and find a logical finding.

In view of the above, no direction is permissible to be issued in the eye of law. The Writ Petition thus stands dismissed but however with liberty to the Petitioner asking the court undertaking such process for expeditious hearing of the matter.

As restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the Parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's Website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Notice No.4798 dated 15th April, 2021 and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
