Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The I.A. has been filed seeking extension of the period of interim bail.

Considering the submissions and particularly, the fact that the father of the petitioner has still not recovered from his serious illness, I am inclined to allow the prayer for extension of interim bail. The interim bail is extended for a period of four weeks. The petitioner shall surrender immediately after expiry of the aforesaid period. Surrender certificate be filed thereafter. It is made clear that no further extensions shall be granted.
