This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The Petitioner is the accused in connection with Special (POCSO) Case No.21 of 2022, pending on the file of learned Ad hoc Addl. District and Sessions Judge (FTSC), Angul, arising out of Angul P.S. Case No.133 of 2022 for the alleged commission of offence under Section 506/376-AB/376(2)(n) IPC and Section 6(1) of the POCSO Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of their application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Ad hoc Addl. District and Sessions Judge (FTSC), Angul by order dated 19.09.2022, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the statement of the victim who is aged about 7 years, this Court is not inclined to release the Petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands rejected.
