This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

The claim of the petitioner for counting of continuous ad hoc service rendered before regular appointment as Lecturer with the Department of Higher Education towards grant of benefit under the Career Advancement Scheme being covered under a decision of this Court in a bunch matter decided on 27.06.2017, was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 21.12.2017 in the writ petition filed by the petitioner bearing W.P.(C) No.26534 of 2017 within a period of twelve weeks of the receipt of the order.

3. At the time of hearing, upon instructions, Mr. P.K. Mohanty submits that the orders passed by this

// 2 // Court have been duly complied with and the contempt has become infructuous.

4. None has come present to refute the aforesaid factual contentions.

5. In view of the above, the present contempt proceedings are dropped and the CONTC is disposed of.

However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to seek the revival of the contempt by filing an application within thirty days from today in case of any discrepancy in the factual situation.
