Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking the following relief:

"It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to allow the writ application, issue notice to the Opposite Parties and be further pleased to allow the petitioner to appear in the entrance for Post Graduate in O.U.A.T., Bhubaneswar on the grounds mentioned above.

And, further be pleased to pass necessary order/orders as this Hon'ble Court thinks fit and proper.

And, grant any other relief/reliefs as deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. And, for this act of your kindness the petitioners shall as in duty bound ever pray."

It is the petitioner's case that he was an applicant for the Masters programme in Agriculture & Allied Subjects of Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar. He had submitted his application in time but could not pay the required fees online as there was some server problem besides internet

connectivity issues. He sent an e-mail to the University in highlighting the fact that the payment option in the website is not available. On the same day he received a response from the University asking him to check his internet connectivity and to clear cache and history in his browser and to login again and try to make payment. The petitioner attempted to do so but was unsuccessful and informed such fact to the University again on the same day through e-mail. His only grievance is that he having applied in time, his payment may be accepted as otherwise he may not be allowed to appear the entrance examination.

Considering the limited grievance of the petitioner, the opposite party authorities are directed to accept the payment of the petitioner towards application fee for the Masters Degree course in Agriculture and Allied subjects for the academic session 2022-23.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 7.
