Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

Instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner challenging the impugned order dated 8th February, 2022 passed by the learned S.D.J.M., Sonepur in G.R. Case No.137 of 2021 whereby cognizance of the offences under Section 498A/307/506/34 IPC read with Section 4 of D.P. Act has been taken vis-à-vis the petitioners.

Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners are the in-laws and they have been chargesheeted for the offences under Section 498-A read with Section 4 .D.P. Act considering the fact that cognizance of the offence includes Section 307 IPC, they apprehend remand in the event appear in response to summons issued by the learned court below.

While contending so, Mr.Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners may at least be directed to appear before the court below and allowed to go on bail subject to any conditions which would serve the purpose.

Considering the limited prayer, the CRLMC stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to appear before the learned S.D.J.M., Sonepur in response to the summons issued by the learned court below in G.R. Case No.137 of 2021 and in such an event, the learned court below shall release them on bail on such terms and conditions as would be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.
