This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No.
(Virtual/Physical Mode).

This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. filed by the Petitioner for bail in connection with Adava P.S. Case No.42 of 2021, corresponding to G.R. Case No.54 of 2021, pending in the file of learned Special Judge, Paralekhmundi, Gajapati, for commission of alleged offences under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c)/29/25 of N.D.P.S. Act.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that he does not want to press this bail application at this juncture and further prays for a direction be issued to the trial court to conclude the trial of the case within a stipulated period of time. 4.
In such view of the matter, the bail application is disposed of as withdrawn with a direction to the trial court to make an endeavor to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of four months from today. However in the event, the trial is not concluded
// 2 // within the stipulated time, it is open for the Petitioner to file fresh bail application and in such event, the application of the Petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law without being influenced by any other factor.
