Heard learned counsel for Petitioners and learned counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to direct the Opposite Parties particularly Opp.Party No.3 and 5 to extend the benefit of Grade Pay of Rs.2,000/- from the date of appointment of the petitioners as the same benefit has been extended ot other candidates in W.P.(C) No.6713 of 2020 disposed of on 25.02.2020, W.P.(C) No.13296 of 2020 disposed of on 10.06.2020 and W.P.(C) No.40475 of 2021 disposed of on 24.12.2021 under Annexure-4 Series within a reasonable time as stipulated by this Hon'ble Court".

Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that through highlighting their grievances, the Petitioners have filed a representation at Annexure-7 to the Writ Petition, before the opposite party No.5 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, they pray that a
// 2 // direction be issued to opposite party No.5 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period. 5.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.5 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law and also taking into account the order passed under Annexures-5 & 6 within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
