Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner.

The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "The opp. parties be directed for grant the Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- in place of Rs.5400/- at the stage of 3rd RACP under Revised Assured Career Progressions Scheme (RACPS) in accordance with the Odisha Revised Scale of Pay(ORSP) Rules, 2008 red with the Notification dated 19.6.2014 of the PR Deptt. Govt. of Odisha by modifying the earlier order at Annexure-7 with all other consequential financial benefits as has been granted in favour of the other similar class of employees of the same department at Annexure-8. The amounts so due may be drawn and disbursed to the petitioner with arrears after refixation of his pay as a consequential benefit at an early date and accordingly his pension be revised.

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation under Annexure-9 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law and taking into account Annexure-8, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
