This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

As it appears from the record that Petitioner has already surrendered before the trial court on 27.5.2022 and surrender certificate to that effect has been filed, which is placed on record. 3.

Registry is directed to rectify the noting made in the cause list regarding filing of surrender certificate. 4.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

During course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the bail application with liberty to renew his prayer at a later stage.

In such view of the matter, the bail application is disposed of as withdrawn. However, this Court directs that the trial court to make an endeavor to expedite the trial in C.T. Spl. (POCSO) Case No.42 of 2019, arising out of Jajpur Road P.S. Case No.75 of 2019

// 2 // and conclude the same preferably within a period of three months from the date of this order. In the event trial of the case has not been completed within the aforesaid time, it is open for the Petitioner to renew his prayer and file fresh application. In such event, the trial court shall consider the prayer of the Petitioner in accordance with law.

The BLAPL is disposed of with liberty as prayed for. 8.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
