1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode. Order No.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Addl. Government Advocate for the State.
3. The Petitioner, while working as Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS), in Ambaguda Gram Panchayat under Jeypore Block was transferred to Chandapada Gram Panchayat under Boipariguda Block vide office order dated 20th August, 2018. Strangely by the same order another GRS namely, Likhita Panda was also transferred to Chandrapada Grama Panchayat under Boipariguda Block. As a result, the Petitioner could not join in transferred post. It is submitted that the Petitioner was not allowed to join anywhere else even though the other person
// 2 // who was transferred to Chandrapada Grama Panchayat by the same office order, has since been relieved from the said post which is lying vacant. It is submitted that the Petitioner has not been allowed to join in any other Grama Panchayat, as a result of which he is almost unemployed and not receiving his remuneration. It is further submitted that no action could be taken in the matter because of the Covid-19 pandemic situation prevailing at the relevant time.
4. Ventilating his grievance, he has submitted a representation to the Collector on 10th August, 2022 indicating his willingness to discharge his duties in any Grama Panchayat of Boipariguda where posts are lying vacant.

Having regard to the innocuous prayer made by the Petitioner as above, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Collector, Koraput (Opposite Party No.2) to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to him, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order or on production of certified copy thereof by the Petitioner
6. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
