This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to grant annual increments in their favour for the period from 22.09.2007 to 31.12.2017 on annual basis, i.e., on the basis of the principle of 1:1 instead of principle of 3:1 and the differential arrears may be calculated and paid to them within a stipulated time.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners states that highlighting the grievances, the petitioners have made representation to the opposite party no.1 vide Annexure-8 and the same may be directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time, to which learned State Counsel has raised no objection. 4.

As agreed to by learned counsel for the parties, however, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition stands disposed of directing opposite party no.1 to consider the representation filed by the petitioners vide Annexure8, and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production/communication of certified copy of this order. Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
