This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner, learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State. Perused the records. 3.

This is an application under Section 438, Cr.P.C. filed by the Petitioner for anticipatory bail, involving offence punishable under Sections 294,307/34 of the Indian Penal Code. 4.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has not been named in the F.I.R. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the injury sustained are simple in nature and the Petitioner does not have similar criminal antecedents.

Considering the nature of allegations made, gravity of the offence and the facts of the case, it is directed that in the event of arrest of the Petitioner by the Arresting Officer in connection with Angul P.S.Case No.510 of 2022, he shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as would be deemed just and proper by the Arresting Officer, but subject to verification of injury and criminal antecedents. In the event it is found that the injuries are grievous in nature, then this order shall not be given effect to. 5.

The ABLAPL is disposed of accordingly.
