This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in connection with C.T. Case No.2255 of 2022, pending in the file of learned S.D.J.M., Jharsuguda, arising out of Jharsuguda P.S. Case No.493 of 2022, for commission of offences under Section 420/392 of IPC. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned ADJ-cum-Special Court under POCSO Act, Jharsuguda, by order dated 23.09.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5.

Taking into account that the petitioner is in custody since 06.09.2022 and charge-sheet has been filed on 30.09.2022 and keeping in view the nature of allegations, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail. Learned Court in seisin over the

matter shall fix the terms so as to ensure the presence of the petitioner on each date of trial.

Keeping in view the criminal antecedent of the petitioner as stated by the learned counsel for the State, it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once every week till conclusion of trial.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
