This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

By interim order dated 18.05.2022, passed in I.A. No.848 of 2022, Petitioner has been released on bail by this Court for a period of two months. It is submitted by Mr. Sahoo, learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has been acquitted in the meantime by judgment dated 13.6.2021, passed in G.R. Case No.95 of 2021, arising out of K. Nuagaon P.S. Case No.64 of 2021 by the Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Special Court under POCSO Act, Berhampur, Ganjam. Accordingly, a prayer has been made to release the Petitioner on bail in view of the ground stated hereinabove. 3.

Considering the submission made, this Court observes that when the judgment was delivered, Petitioner was on interim bail, therefore, Petitioner after surrendering before the court below, the judgment of acquittal shall be given effect to. Accordingly,

// 2 // Petitioner is directed to surrender before the court below thereafter he will be entitled to get benefit of the judgment of acquittal. 4.

With the aforesaid observation, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
